I'm having a problem with these Seagate 2Tb USB external powered hard drives.
I need to format them to get rid of the "Seagate" software already on them and have them recognised by B4W & Bogart Linux.
I make them into a 'simple volume' and then format into NTFS. B4W (as in Saphir on Win 10 & Travel Pro) will mostly see them but Bogart (S6000 & Karat) will not.
This always used to work and is necessary for HD Sentry between machines/systems but maybe Seagate have changed something or Windows 10 has ?
What am I 'now' doing wrong or is there a better 2Tb unit to be using ?
All I get is as shown on the attached picture with "New Simple Volume" being the only choice and once you've done that it doesn't work as there's no MBR ?
