Slow Motion Import of high speed camcorder footage
Today there are affordable cameras recording up to 960 frames per second in lower resolutions, but also much more than 60p in Full-HD.
Importing this high speed footage into Bogart (Gold Edition) is easy. You can choose to get the scene in "real" time (the Bogart default setting) and you can import high speed scenes catching every frame and get a perfect slow motion, depending on the recorded frames/second and the project setting.
The selection is done by activating the "show Expert menu" option within the "Import" menu - and then setting the "adjust frame rate" to the desired position.
on = the recorded scene will be imported in "real" time. A 5 second recording with 120p will be a 5 second scene in a 30p project (default setting)
off (no sound) = the recorded frames, like 120 per second will all be used to generate a new scene. A 5 second recording with 120p will then be 20 seconds in a 30p project, giving a perfect 4x slow motion (120/30).
And here are some cameras that are perfect and affordable for slow motion recordings:
Sony RX10 II (1920x1080/120p, low resolutions up to 960fps)
Sony RX100 V (1920x1080/120p, low resolutions up to 960fps)
