Yes - Bogart 8.1 will work on S-4100. :thumbup:

Bogart 8.1

Hello
I am having the trouble to install Bogart 8.1 on my S-4100, Im not sure why, my dvd player seems to work fine. is there a way to install with a USB key?

if not any ideas that i can try?

Today, the MacroMotion development put Bogart 8.2 into the Pre-Release test. This should be released next week, so it's better to wait for the new version. I am currently on vacation ans will then translate the USB Install procedure . :thumbup:

Hello,
I can't figure out why my S-4100 will not boot from CD Bogart 8.2, I tried lots of times. In BIOS the setting is set to CD/DVD to boot first. Could it be the cd player?

any ideas

Please check the DVD creation process with the new ISO->DVD how-to I wrote :!:

If the DVD was made correct, the system should boot from DVD and if there is a problem with DVD or the optical drive - the system should give an error.

Ignored DVD's are usually created in the wrong way. :huh:

There is only one way to burn those cd's; I was opening the .ISO file and burning from there, but that doesn't work.

If you "open" the ISO file - depending on the Windows Version and installed add-on software - will mount the ISO image as a virtual drive and show it's content. But burning this content will just create a data-DVD, not a bootable dvd :!:

To be on the save side, you can also download and use the free ImgBurn software. With this program, there is nearly no chance to burn a wrong DVD from an image. :thumbup:
