The new machine looks really nice. Can you tell me the difference between the new Studio 4 or just using a PC at home?

The Casablanca-4 Studio you can buy in Switzerland, has the same configuration as the Casablanca-4 Studio a user in Germany, Austria, Italy or elsewhere will buy. If you have and report any problem - everyone in the forum can reproduce it to help. :thumbup:

If you have an individual PC which nobody has here, support will be quite difficult.

If an error cannot be produced within the forum, you will have to find your own solution. The advantage of Casablanca systems has always been the selected hardware, while PC editors at home are mostly screwing around on their own. :huh:

In every video club with Casablanca and PC cutters it's the same procedure: the Casablanca users are talking about their movies and editing - the PC users are talking about driver updates and hardware tinkering. :thumbsup:

After all, the Casablanca-4's are tested and carry selected hardware to play with 4k / UHD video - and the Studio's have a selected, compatible FireWire capture card. Any home PC may fit - but if not - don't blame MacroMotion.
